Are you a day-dreamer?
I guess you know exactly how you want your future to look.
What if I told you that your vision can, in fact, become your reality?
Here are four simple steps that will help you to take your power back, focus on what matters to you, and CREATE a future that you will be excited to wake up to.
So here we go…
The truth is that YOU get to choose who you want to be and what you want to create every single day.
The more you focus on what you want the clearer your vision becomes.
Even though clarity takes time, we can start calling our desired future in by writing down goals for the next six to nine months.
Set aside five minutes of stillness every day and get clear on your values. Writing down what you treasure the most will help you to stay on your path during the day.
Let your imagination guide you and work through the following worksheets:
2. Accept your life as it is now
What you resist persists.
Living mentally in the past or worrying about the future leaves you with almost no energy to respond to your life now.
We are powerful only to the extent to which we are willing to face our reality as it is right now.
A lot of uncertainty and mental suffering comes from waiting for the right moment to live the life we want to live.
However, each moment becomes perfect when we are led by our own wisdom and we become present in our everyday life.
When we become available, life starts speaking to us. It will speak to us through people, experiences, and synchronicities. And if we don´t want to miss out on opportunities we better embrace our perfectly imperfect ordinary lives.
3. Set aside time to plan
The power of writing your goals and dreams down consists of practicing who you want to BE.
By intentionally journaling about our future we create new pathways in our brains and they, in turn, help us to take aligned action.
When we feel now the way we would like to feel in our future we are literally becoming a new person and creating a new reality for ourselves.
I, personally, love to do this kind of journaling early in the morning when the veil between the subconscious and the conscious mind is still thin. However, as with every practice you find on this blog, there is no right or wrong way of doing it. The only way of doing it is the one you feel inspired to and that is also the right way for you.
4. Take the right action
We are all different, so my plan of action may not be the right recipe for your success.
If there is one thing I know for sure then it is to listen to my own inner guidance, intuition, or whatever term we use for the inspiration that comes to us in the form of ideas.
Start acting on your intuition. Start small, so that the fear won´t be able to talk you out of it. Then wait for the evidence to support what you have known/seen/heard in advance. The more you practice, the more you will trust yourself and meanwhile, you can have a lot of fun and many revelations showing you how powerful you truly are.
To your success,
